Landscaping

Complete garden and landscape overhauls, from ponds to lakes with a floating summer house, decking to patios, small gardens to large gardens, we cater to all. We can provide detailed drawings of your garden redesign, along with  detailed planting plans to ensure our clients know how to look after their new gardens for years to come.

In every walk in with nature, one receives far more than they seek.

As a company, we truly believe that our connection to nature is essential in life, and our first experience of this each day is our own outdoor space. We have a true passion for creating spaces where our clients can walk out their doors, into the garden, and have a complete sense of peace and serenity.

We cater to all shapes and sizes of landscapes, from huge land overhauls to simple relaying of turf. Our love of nature takes us beyond the scope of a normal garden, exciting projects such as hidden gardens, food forests and even tiers of ponds, to gravity drip irrigate acres of land as sustainably as possible, whilst truly encouraging nature to flourish.

This was a challenging, but exciting project to have completed. The garden was an absolute disaster before we started, but in every cloud there is a silver living, in that this meant for us – blank canvas and free rein to take our clients ideas, and design something that truly brings them to reality.

Access was tight, through a narrow garden gate, and so bringing material in and out was an arduous task, but we got there in the end. It is not the biggest garden in the world, so we had to be creative in order to fulfil our clients specification, of several different, functional spaces.

We designed it so as you walk out of the patio doors, you are greeted with a patio area large enough for a table and chairs, with raised planters either side, containing all of your cut and come again herbs and spices for the kitchen.

You then step up onto a new lawn area, with gorgeous flowerbeds bordering either side, filled with bright, vibrant colours and climbers, to another seating / entertaining space at the rear of the garden. We built the rear patio using reclaimed bricks, and we have to say (even though perhaps we are slightly biased),  we think they blend into the garden beautifully, and also contrast incredibly with the other materials around them.

Whilst shown on the plans as coming square off of the left hand fence, we decided to change the pergola in design slightly, and have it coming out of the corner, diagonally, to offer more shade and also achieve a larger pergola.

We also felt that this way, the pergola invites you into it softly, as is angled toward you as you walk onto the rear patio, and this also helps soften a lot of the other sharper angles we have used for the planters and flowerbeds – much like the deliberate shape to the rear patio as well.

“Wow” is all I can say about this project.

We were lucky enough to be able to stay in this 12 bedroom house, three months each year for two consecutive summers. The owner wanted to eventually build a second tower at the property to gain Chateau status, but to start with, and seeing as the main house already has 12 bedrooms, she wanted a swimming pool, with a beautiful patio to relax on, landscaped beds and sets of sweeping steps to access the area.

We used curves and circles to softly transition from sharp angles and draw you around the 42 acres of woodland and stunning vistas surrounding the property. The pool is 2.8 metres deep at one end which shallows toward the steps. The cover is motorised and pool lined with a soft, mosaic patterned liner.

The pool uses magnesium salts to purify and clean the water, which is smoother and softer on your skin, better for your hair, nearly odourless and requires minimal maintenance when compared to a salt water or traditional chlorine pool.
