We feel it is important to give our clients information on sustainable materials within the construction industry, as after all, we are the specialists, and often find that our clients just simply do not know that there is a sustainable alternative to the material either they, or the architect, have specified.
In exploring new sustainable materials, we open up a whole new dimension to building. Whether that be through the use or air/ground source heat pumps, or passive buildings to heat and cool efficiently. Smart wiring your home, to enable you to be as energy efficient as possible, in turn providing great financial savings, whilst also being conscious to the environment by lowering your carbon footprint as much as possible. By using sustainably made blocks for the structure to a house, which have excellent thermal insulation values. Baix Empordà – Costa Brava
Felix is actually my sons name, and I created the company with it in mind, to one day, leave it to him – should he want it! The idea behind the name is that ‘Felix Styles Construction’ – or more to the point his Dad does, as should be clear from our website, construction is a real passion for me, the creative process of which I absolutely love.
Dependent on how much free rein a customer gives you, you are truly able to put your own creative touches on each project, in a subtle, and somewhat artistic way. We want to leave every customer with something they absolutely love looking at, every day!
Our logo designer, is one of the best in the world, a charming lady from London, UK, who usually only works with much bigger brands, than a construction company! But as luck would have it, being a family friend, she was more than happy to help.
The logo itself of the broken up ‘F’ & ‘S’ we feel works really well, and the simple, but lovely touch she has put in the wording, where the x in ‘Felix’ does not cross, to demonstrate unity between Father & Son!
When my wife and I first came to live in Spain, we discovered that we had many jobs that needed to be completed in our house before we could truly call it ‘home’.
