This project was the outcome of a huge storm that ripped though the South-West of France in 2008, decimating the original building. This was soon after our client had acquired the property, but fortunately the building was insured and so the insurance company paid for us to rebuild it!
This was a great project, as most of the time the weather was outstanding, we were working in a beautiful place and were lucky enough to stay in the main house for the time the project took to complete.
The roof detailing matching in with the main house and whilst we were at it, we took the roof of the main house as well, installed new velux windows with automatic blinds, and retiled both properties in keeping with the traditional French / local way.
The gorgeous window and door stone detailing, matches back in with how the original building looked in the photos below.
